Autodesk Certification Exam Voucher

General Terms

§  Each Autodesk certification exam voucher (“Exam Voucher”) expires on the specified expiration date that accompanies the Exam Voucher. 

§  You must register for and complete the Autodesk certification exam using the Exam Voucher prior to the expiration date provided with the Exam Voucher. 

§  Exam Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended. You will not receive a credit or be reimbursed for expired Exam Vouchers.

§  Exam Vouchers will not be replaced, including without limitation, if they are stolen or lost. 

§  You are responsible for confirming you are obtaining authentic Exam Vouchers from a distributor authorized by Autodesk. Autodesk is not responsible for counterfeit exam vouchers. 

§  Exam Voucher is purchased in advance as future payment for a specific Autodesk certification exam registration. Exam Voucher is non-refundable, non-returnable and may not be redeemed for cash, credit or refund. 

§  You can only redeem an Exam Voucher one time, by one person, for one exam.

§  Exam Voucher can only be used for the exam type specified on your Exam Voucher.  It is your responsibility to purchase the correct Exam Voucher for the specific certification exam you wish to take. Autodesk can discontinue or change any exam at any time.

§  You are responsible for maintaining the safekeeping and security of the Exam Voucher prior to redemption.

§  Voucher may not be applied to exams that have already been taken.

§  Exam Voucher is void if altered or revised in any way.  

§  This Exam Voucher may not be resold or transferred other than by an authorized Autodesk distributor.

§  Vouchers may not be used by residents or nationals of export restricted countries.

 

Exam Voucher Currency Restrictions

Exam Vouchers are available in United States dollars (USD $), European Euro (EUR €) or the British Pound (GBP £), depending on the specific country where Exam Vouchers are purchased. Autodesk is not responsible if Exam Candidate purchases an Exam Voucher in the wrong currency. Exam Vouchers purchased in USD can only be used in countries that accept USD vouchers. Exam Vouchers purchased in EUR can only be used in countries that accept EUR vouchers. Exam Vouchers purchased in GBP can only be used in countries that accept GBP vouchers. Please see here for a list of countries accepting Exam Vouchers in each currency.

What is the Exam Format and What Types of Questions are On the Exams?
Pearson VUE-hosted certification exams are selected response. You will not have access to the software to help you with your answers. Exams feature several different types of questions:

• Multiple-choice questions measure knowledge of a specific topic. A multiple-choice item asks a question and provides multiple possible answers.
• Drag-and-drop questions measure object-association and placement skills. Exam takers select and reposition answer options within a list or graphic.
• Active-screen questions measure familiarity with the software UI by using interactive images of the software.
• Hot-area questions measure your ability by asking you to select “hot” areas of an exhibit. Hot-area items are essentially multiple-choice items with graphical answer choices.
• Graphic-interpretation questions measure your ability to view a graphic and interpret the information successfully.

I Need Accomodations to Take My Certification Exam. How Do I Request Them?
Autodesk and our testing provider, Pearson VUE, are committed to ensuring testing access for all individuals. Requests for test accommodations are considered on a case-by-case basis and are included in our application process. To request testing accommodation, indicate the type (for example: extra time, exam reader) and a brief description. Our certification program team will respond in most cases within two business days, and you will receive an email notification with the decision on your request.

If you are approved for accommodations, we will pass the approval to our testing provider, Pearson VUE. When you schedule your exam test appointment, the accommodations will be automatically approved. If your accommodation is not approved, you may create a case with Autodesk support to request an appeal.

How is My Exam Scored?
Your exam is scored with a pass or fail result. Passing scores vary by certification exam, and we do not disclose the passing score to candidates before they take the exam.

What are My Requirements to Get Recertified
To recertify for an Autodesk certification, you must:

• Submit a new certification application within the six month period prior to the certification expiration date
• Schedule, purchase, and take the certification exam before the expiration date
• Achieve a passing score

Once you have passed the exam, the expiration date on the certification will be appended and extended through a new expiration term.

There is no grace period for expired certification credentials. To pursue certification after your existing certification has expired, you must submit a new application, purchase and take the related certification exam, and achieve a passing result. The issuance date on this new certification will be effective the date of the passed exam.
